The Alzheimer’s Association’s mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. The Southland Chapter provides free educational programs, support services and care consultations across Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, Tulare, Kings and Inyo counties.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds. Held in more than 600 communities nationwide, with 14 in the Southland region, monies raised support our full organizational mission.
