When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, families face emotional distress, financial strains and many other devastating consequences. The Orange County Ronald McDonald House, a program of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California (RMHCSC), serves as a “home-away-from-home” for families of critically-ill children undergoing treatment at nearby hospitals and medical facilities. Providing inexpensive, and often free, lodging for families across the Southland, we serve as a source of comfort, care and support during difficult times.
image001This year the Orange County Ronald McDonald House is celebrating 25 years of keeping families together when they need it the most. Since opening in 1989, the House has helped families alleviate a small part of the challenges they are facing, thanks to the incredible support generated by individuals, families and businesses across Southern California.
